    With less than a week left of October, it’s time to cook up the ultimate Oktoberfest meal-in-a-pot – Sauerkraut Suppe (Soup). The name may not sound like much, but mix polish sausage, sauerkraut and beer, and he’ll think it’s dinner at the stadium. Add potatoes and French onion dip, and you’ll have a lip-licking entrance into Fall.

    1. Hey, folks, so after writing this recipe out, I HAD to make it this weekend. I wanted to let you know that I made it with a 24.5 oz. jar of German-Style Sauerkraut. I put in about 16 oz with the potatoes and such and then added the rest right before I served it. It added a little crunch.
      Also, this baby just gets better with time so days 2 and 3 are even better! Enjoy!
