• Finding the time to take a 10 minute break for Mommy

    2) When they are napping, STOP what you are doing; take the 10 minutes out from their nap time to breathe in love and exhale frustration or worry. Know that these 10 simple minutes belong to you! Listen to music with earphones on or at low volume. Just listen. Feel the freedom you have to choose this moment for you. Dance to your own music you love so well. Show your body that you love it. Show your mind that you can ease the stress and you will not only be physically healthy but also mentally healthy if you practice this daily.

    3) Just after dinner time, leave the dishes for a bit. They won’t go anywhere. Get your children bathed and settled. Then take that 10 minute break you need so much by now. The children can watch a movie or read a book, or look at pictures if they can’t read.

Use the 10 minutes at this time to breathe in that love you know you deserve and have from your children. Exhale the days’ stresses and worries. Do this 3 times. Then look at your accomplishments. Every single thing you did today, you did for the love of your children. Now what are you going to do for the love of you? Read, take a long soothing bath? Light a candle in gratitude that you are aware of yourself and your desires!

How do you find time? Tell us about it!
