I've been looking for a great light and fruity summer drink and I think I've found a winner! This Watermelon Sangria is super easy to make and takes just a few minutes. Its the perfect cocktail to serve in a nice big pitcher so its all ready to go for you and your friends to enjoy on a nice summer evening.
Ingredients
6 cups cubed watermelon (if you want a stronger watermelon flavor, use up to 9 cups)
1 (750 milliliter) bottle white wine (I used Moscato)
1 cup vodka½ cup triple sec
1-3 cups cubed seeded watermelon (I used about 1 cup, but you can use more for more watermelon flavor)
1 medium lime, quartered
1 orange, cut into wedges
1 cup blueberries
Instructions
Place 6 cups of watermelon cubes in a blender
Blend on high until very smooth
Strain juice through a mesh strainer into a large pitcher
Pour the wine, vodka, and triple sec into the pitcher
Stir to combine
Mix the remaining 1-3 cups of watermelon cubes, the lime quarters, orange sections, and blueberries into the sangria
Chill for 4 hours before serving and enjoy
