• Your Biggest Pet Peeves

Which one of these do you hate the most?

“People who flake out on plans” – my sister-in-law.

“People who ask for your advice, then ignore everything you said” – FB male friend.

“People who post every moment of their lives on facebook. I do not care that you mopped the floor and cleaned the toilet” – FB female friend.

“People who post every time they exercise or how far they ran that day” – my sister-in-law, again.  (I am totally on board with this one.)

“People in the grocery store who stand side-by-side with their carts and chat while you’re trying to get through. I have grocery rage issues”.  – my mom (It’s an inherited trait).

“Tailgaters in the slow lane, texting” – my brother.  (Yeah, we have that in common, too.)

“People who park their carts sideway in the grocery store aisle, and then look affronted when you ask to pass” – me (see? Grocery rage issues).

“The whole 50 Shades of Grey infiltration of everything” – me, again.

What it boils down to is the biggest pet peeves are people.  People are the issue, people are the problem.  When did we, as a society, become rude?  No one says “Excuse me” any more, they just blow right by you without a glance.  I say we start a movement to bring politeness back.  We start saying “please”, “thank you”, “excuse me” and slap a damn smile on our faces when we say it AND actually mean what we say.  Teach our children manners.  Let’s bring the sexy back into politeness.
